Reporting directly to the Production Manager and working as part of the Plant/Production Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Engineer will ensure that the industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.

Description
The duties of this role will cover the following main functions and responsibilities: -
- Planning and carrying out preventive maintenance.
- Diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and testing repairs.
- Managing stocks and supplies of spare parts & ordering specialist components, fixtures and fittings for
equipment such as CNC's, CTF & Press Breaks.
- Supervising external contractors whilst on-site.
- Creating maintenance and safe operating procedures.
- Managing a keeping record of faults and repairs.
Profile
A successful Manufacturing professional should have:
- C&G, Or Timeserved Electrical Apprentice in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent or a Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Ability to follow directions, procedures with good verbal, written & PC-based communicational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- You may need to work shifts or be on call particularly when the manufacturing equipment is in continual operation.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
- Generous overtime paid at time and half and double time with bonus hours paid after 6, 10 and 12 hours overtime worked per week.
