Manufacturing Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector

The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead key initiatives, including:

  • Designing assembly and hydraulic test processes tailored to the oil and gas sector.
  • Driving lean projects to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Implementing advanced controls and automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Supporting new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Optimising production flows for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A solid background in the oil and gas industry, with hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a strong technical foundation.
  • Proven expertise in lean principles, hazard identification, and resource optimisation.
  • A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a desire to continuously improve processes.
  • Experience in Design for Excellence (DfX) principles and a track record of creating efficiency's in complex environments.
