Operations Manager - £57,000 - £60,000 Salary - Plastic Manufacturing experience required- Training and Development Opportunities - Nottinghamshire Based!

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager on a full-time basis.

This role is in the ideal location for candidates based in Newark, Bingham, Lincoln, Grantham and the surrounding areas.

This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving and supportive workplace!

It is essential you have experience working within the Plastic Manufacturing industry. This is essential, please only apply if you have this experience.

Duties;
- Navigate leadership and provide unwavering support to the Operations Management Team.
- Execution the company's business strategies to achieve the planned growth.
- Build relationships with local authorities
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans for new projects. Taking full responsibility for P&L.
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of the Construction team providing guidance
- Strong commercial and operational knowledge
- A high level of Health & Safety knowledge with an understanding of 5s & Lean
- Previous production planning experience
- Outstanding People Management skills, an effective communication at all levels.
- Experienced in managing multiple teams across multiple shift patterns
- Change Management skills
- Problem solving, analytical and an eye for detail to ensure all products are produced to the highest standard
- Computer skills to a working standard competent using Microsoft office programmes
- An understanding of Sage and CIM

Skills;
- Experience of relationship building and business development within the industry
- Effective financial planning, budgeting, and cost management
- Strong commercial awareness
- Familiarity with legislation and management best practices
- Visionary leadership skills

Working Hours; Monday - Friday -8.30 AM - 5.00 PM (37.5 hrs per week)
Salary; £57,000 - £60,000
