Hours Per Week:Monday - Friday 39 Hours
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time
The Site Manager will:
- Work alongside the assigned Project Manager to deliver the project to GRAHAM high standards complying with all HSE guidance and GRAHAM procedures along the way.
- Update contractor project reports/programmes in advance of meets
- Attend Client / Prestart / Progress meetings
- Work with the design team to resolve on site design issues
- Deliver and schedule works with direct labour and sub-contractors
- Manage H&S on site including inductions of GRAHAM staff and Subcontractors
- Record Site events and conditions
- Liaise with the Project Manager and end users to make sure they are kept up to date with progress and requirements
- Ensure all works are completed to high quality
- Manage Works on site including staff & Subcontractor management
- Manage works to deliver to programme
- Self-snag works prior to completion of works
- Collate material orders and issue to Service Desk for ordering
- Complete O&M manuals on completion of projects
Essential Criteria
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
- Demonstrate relevant previous experience in a similar role working within a trade or construction background
- CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card
- Health & Safety Induction Including Management System
- Demonstrate previous relevant management experience
- Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Project
- Full UK drivers licence
- First Aid at Work
- Proven Leadership and people management skills
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ in Construction Management (or equivalent)
