Job Title: Associate Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid working - 3 days onsite/customer site)

Salary: negotiable,  DOE,  circa 80-120k

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in Dublin. This role offers an opportunity to work on end-to-end projects, from design and implementation through to use and feedback. You will be responsible for overseeing project budgets and ensuring financial elements are managed effectively.

Currently operating as a small team, this is the perfect place to grow your career with no glass ceiling and the opportunity to progress to Director level. 

Experience working on Commercial projects - hotels/office builds- is essential, but any design work on data centres and labs would be a real added bonus too 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate projects as a Line Manager/Project Lead.
  • Oversee one direct report.
  • Manage project budgets and financial elements.
  • Attend meetings with customers and Director.
  • Ensure successful project delivery from design to implementation and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • 10-15 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proven experience in commercial, hotel/office, laboratory, and residential projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
