Reviewing and improving existing designs for better performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Leading continuous improvement projects to eliminate inefficiencies in design and manufacturing processes.
Prototyping and testing to validate design changes and ensure optimal performance.
Identifying cost-effective materials and solutions to reduce production expenses while maintaining quality.
Documenting improvements, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
Supporting sales and creating hydraulic systems as required.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have:

Experience in mechanical design or similar.
Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD (SolidWorks, ProE, or similar).
Solid understanding of engineering principles including thermodynamics, mechanical design, and materials science.
Experience with manufacturing processes like CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead improvement initiatives.
