Your new companyThis Belfast based practice is one of the UK and Ireland's leading Building Services and Sustainability Engineering Consultancies, providing sustainable, multidisciplined design services. Qualified Passivehaus and NZEB Designers who also provide Commissioning Management and BREEAM Assessments. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to be a key part of this Belfast Practice.Your new roleWhilst the role will be extremely varied, typical responsibilities could include:
- Adhere to the design process and carry out mechanical engineering design tasks related to the project.
- Achieve the practice's goal of delivering first class engineering on time and within budget.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and comply with company procedures and standards.
- Be responsible for technical performance, quality, and budget control on all projects, and actively resolve technical issues in design elements.
- Ensure technical quality by implementing best practices and continuous improvement processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years previous experience in a Mechanical Engineer role within Building Services
- Previous experience using Revit software and IES Software
- Familiar with BIM
- Experience of BREEAM or having working familiarity with environmental assessment methods
- Familiarity with CIBSE design standards etc.
- Permission to legally work in the UK and Ireland
