Role Overview
As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality PCBs aligned with the unique requirements of each project. You will work closely with design engineers to produce complex, high-reliability PCBs for business-critical products, often to tight timelines. This role demands an experienced PCB layout specialist with a proactive approach and a high level of production, design, and implementation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to create precise PCB layouts.
- Work with designers on mechanical and thermal needs.
- Communicate with manufacturers to resolve issues.
- Analyze and review analogue and digital circuits.
- Support continuous improvement and process development.
Essential Skills:
- PCB design experience with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in Altium Designer.
- Experience with IPC 2221 Class 3 layouts.
- Solid knowledge of components and industry standards.
- Adaptable, quick learner with excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in product design and verification.
- Familiarity with design lifecycles and reviews.
- IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID).
- Knowledge of Zuken Cadstar software.
