Sonic Summary

The position is for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Building Services located in London.
This is a 12-month contract role with a salary that is dependent on experience (DOE).
Candidates should have experience with Mechanical Design, Revit MEP, and Hevacomp/IES VE.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, along with a HNC/Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field.
The role involves producing detailed designs, performing thermal modeling, and applying knowledge of Building Regulations and renewable technologies.

G2 are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work on exciting projects across various sectors. If you have experience with Mechanical Design (Building Services), and a strong understanding of Revit MEP, Hevacomp/IES VE, I want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Use Revit MEP for design & coordination
Perform thermal modeling, SAPs/SBEM calculations, & EPCs using Hevacomp/IES VE
Apply knowledge of Building Regulations, BREEAM, Passivhaus Standards & renewable technologies
Produce detailed designs, specifications & drawings (CAD essential)

Requirements:

Experience with Revit MEP & Hevacomp/IES VE
MEP D&B contractor experience
HNC/Degree in Building Services Engineering or similar
CAD & MS Project proficiency
