I am currently working with a client who work on Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning Systems who are looking for Sales Engineer for their West Midlands Branch.

Sales Engineer Job Overview:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with effective communication skills. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored air conditioning solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of air conditioning systems and strong interpersonal skills.

Position: Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company's air conditioning product line.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Client Requirements:

  • Conduct assessments of client requirements and translate technical specifications into viable solutions.

Sales Presentations & Demonstrations:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Highlight technical features and benefits of the company's air conditioning solutions.
  • Customize air conditioning solutions to meet specific client needs and incorporate technical details into proposals.

Communication Skills:

  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients with varying levels of technical understanding.

Collaboration with Sales Team:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align technical solutions with client expectations and sales strategy.

Project Transition:

  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to project implementation by providing technical insights to the project delivery team.

Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay informed about competitors' products and technologies to position the company's solutions effectively in the market.

Client Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and act as a trusted advisor for air conditioning needs.
  • Use digital tools and communication channels to engage with clients both in person and remotely.

Forecasting & Sales Reporting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and utilize CRM systems to track customer activity and sales performance.
