Role: Field Engineer
Salary/Rate: £ market rates per day (inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week travelling to sites in SW UK
Contract Duration: until end of March 2025

We are currently looking for a Field Engineer for our government client. This Field Engineer role is hybrid, based between 3 days per week on sites in the southwest UK, and the remainder of the week working remotely. Travel will be expensed.

The contract for the Field Engineer position is initially until the end of March 2025 with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Developed Vetting ("DV Clearance") + sole UK national

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

Provide second/third line support, covering installed networks, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Install and upgrade equipment including network devices, desktops, peripherals and VCT builds
Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems
Ensure configuration management information is maintained Update processes and training materials, as required
Work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation
