Our clients arelooking for a Casualty Underwriting specialist to add to theirUnderwriting Office team as Deputy Casualty Underwriting Officer.

Working with a dynamic & enthusiastic management team this role is focused on monitoring and contributing to the profitable growth of the UK Casualty account across the company's branch network and syndicate team. Applicants will have to have a good technical understanding of underwriting EL, PL & Products liabilities in the UK retail & SME space; strong portfolio management skills; ability to make strategic decisions and implement change.

The role is based in London with the management team - butapplicants can also work from Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, or Manchester branches provided they are prepared to travel into London for meetings.

You must have -

Solid experience in commercial underwriting and product within the property and casualty industry.

Leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop colleagues, and align resources to accomplish key objectives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence various audiences across the enterprise.

Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
