Pay Rate: £14.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers to join our well-established home wares Client based in Barnsley. The role will be covering availability between Monday to Saturday, 06:00 starts working as a 2 man team.

This position may be ongoing for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently
Complete deliveries to residential addresses
Willing to work as part of a double manned team
Carry heavy home ware products
Follow Company procedures and comply with the Driving rules and regulations.
Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all times
Drive a Van if required

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
Excellent communication skills
Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
Work in a professional manner
Must be reasonably physically fit as lifting and carrying involve

Desirable Experience

Experience with home deliveries is desirable but not essential

Manual handling training provided
