Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and driven Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our client, a leading specialist in the treatment of eating disorders, providing personalised, patient-focused care. Here, your contributions will make a real impact in the lives of young patients with eating disorders

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide sensitive care and treatment to young people and their families.
  • Ensure the voices of young people are heard in care plans.
  • Liaise with families for seamless patient care and support.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making and care planning.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environment.
  • Work as an associate/key-worker in delivering collaborative care.
  • Promote a partnership in care through advocacy and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in inpatient CAMHS nursing is desirable.
  • Experience working with patients with eating disorders is a plus.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to nursing care.
  • Ability to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
