Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (pro rata for part-time)
Locations: South Kensington (part time) & Marylebone (full time)
Hours:
- Part-time: 2 days per week (Bands 6 & 7)
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (Bands 6 & 7)
- Qualified Occupational Therapist (OT)
- HCPC registration
- Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- IT literacy for clinical and administrative tasks
- Strong understanding of risk management, health and safety, and child protection practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Intervention, therapy, and pupil learning support
- Setting and assessing targets for integration into the curriculum
- Recording and reporting on pupil progress for annual reviews
- Participating in appraisals and maintaining accurate intervention records
- Contributing to staff meetings, whole-school events, and providing cover when needed
- Safeguarding support on school premises and during external activities
- Supervising students and therapy assistants as required
- Experience working within a school setting
- Ability to implement behaviour support strategies and develop care plans
- Strong clinical judgement in handling complex cases
- Part-time role: 2 days per week (16 hours), 37 weeks per year (term time only)
- Full-time role: 40 hours per week, 37 weeks per year (term time only)
