I am currently working with an important manufacturer of industry leading printing presses. The company are looking to hire a Print Demonstrator to work closely with the company's customers and ensure that all operators using the machines are thoroughly trained to use these modern presses which are on the cutting edge of technology.

The role:

In this newly created role you will be travelling around the UK helping the Directors of printing companies get the best out of their machines. Specifically:

Being involved with the installation of new machines
Training and retraining management and staff at new customers
Picking up potential faults and knowledge gaps in operators
Travelling to customer sites and working closely with company directors
Demonstrating the optimum ROI customers can gain

The candidate we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a background in lithographic printing but be looking to get off the tools and pass their expertise on to others. The company really are a leader in their field and there is the opportunity for personal development and potential overseas travel. Specifically:

Extensive experience as a printer, working with large format printers
Experience of training and mentoring staff
Comfortable travelling all over the UK and spending nights away
Possess very good communication skills
Have a good practical knowledge and understanding of how the machines work
The role is home based and will involve travelling across the UK so living in a location that is reasonably ‘central' would be ideal
You will be very organised and possess a high level of personal responsibility
You will be very reliable and able to manage your own workload
