Your new companyHays are representing an award-winning communications agency to recruit a Social Media & PR Manager in Belfast.Your new roleAs Social Media & PR Manager, you will combine strategic planning, relationship-building, creative thinking, and content creation to elevate our clients' presence and reputation.You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and executing data-driven social media strategies.
  • Producing tailored and engaging content for target audiences on various platforms, maintaining a consistent tone of voice, engaging with users and staying up to date with social media trends.
  • Managing and planning content calendars.
  • Collaborating with teams and influencers.
  • Tracking and reporting on social media metrics.
  • Optimising campaigns using data insights and preparing monthly performance reports.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns.
  • Integrate social media with PR initiatives.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities.
  • Implement PR strategies for positive coverage.
  • Crafting press materials, monitoring press coverage and reporting on PR campaign effectiveness and building media relationships.
  • Bring innovative ideas to the organisation.
  • Manage multiple client accounts.

What you'll need to succeed*Graduate calibre with 3+ years of experience in PR and social media management either in agency or in-house.*Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).*Evidence of commitment to personal development.*Demonstrable experience of successfully managing media relations and securing high-profile coverage.*Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with attention to detail.*In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content trends.*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.*Strong research skills.*Excellent project and time management skills.*Team player with the ability to manage upwards/downwards.*Knowledge of SEO principles and how they interact with PR and social media efforts.*Good understanding of PR and industry ethical standards.*Proficient in evaluating work and ensuring measurability of campaigns.*Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
