The Payroll Administrator role forms a critical part of the client services team ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll across the UK and ROI client portfolio.

Description
Responsibilities
- End-to-End processing client payrolls for a portfolio of clients from different sectors in a busy payroll bureau team
- Payrolls vary in size from Director only to large companies for UK and ROI
- RTI Submissions
- BACS payments as part of BACS approved bureau
- Payroll Year End for UK clients: End-to-End / P60's
- Pension scheme set up, management and administration on behalf of clients inc pay period pension contribution uploads
- Declarations and liaising with The Pensions Regulator
- HMRC and ROS experience: PAYE scheme registrations, agent account and comfortable liaising for client queries and enquiries
- Client relationships: continue with existing clients and build with team
- General tax knowledge in relation to payroll: BiK, P11D's, PSA's etc.
Profile
A successful Payroll team member should have:
- A firm understanding of payroll regulations and requirements UK and Ireland ideally
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Familiarity with payroll software: Sage 50 Payroll / Sage One / Xero / ROI: Thesaurus (Brightpay product)
- Strong team-working skills
