A leading Housing company specialising in Supported and Luxury living is seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Coordinator for a 6-month FTC. Join this expanding Housing Company who are going through exciting times and growth!

You will deliver exceptional services to Newham's diverse residents while ensuring their operations meet the highest governance and compliance standards.

The Role:
As a Governance and Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Boards by managing governance, regulatory, and legislative compliance services.

Your responsibilities will include:
" Board Support: Organizing the calendar of meetings and preparing agendas,
" Board Processes: Managing recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, and offboarding for Board members.
" Governance Audits: Supporting audits and developing improvement plans.
" Compliance Management: Maintaining the compliance register, policy tracker, and contract registers.
" Risk Management: Assisting the Executive team with risk registers.
" Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicating with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and supporting directors in reporting.

About You:
" Experience: Previous experience in a governance or compliance role is essential; legal experience is desirable but not required.
" Skills: Strong understanding of the NHF code of governance, excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
" Interpersonal Abilities: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically and professionally with all stakeholders.

This role requires someone who is flexible, as you may need to work later hours when required.

This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
