Your new companyA successful engineering company who have been manufacturing top quality products for the past 30 years in Northern Ireland. They have a range of sector they supply to, including food company solutions, engineering and automation solutions. The have a great company culture and staff retention very strong.Your new roleAs a Quality Engineering Manager you will manage a small engineering team and provide engineering support to the sales team and manufacturing manager. You will manage and deliver on various engineering projects relating to conveyors and metal separation equipment and closely work with stakeholders, while keeping them updated on project progress, and any arising issues. Resolve engineering problems by collecting information, researching & analysing, recommending solutions, preparing drawings, schematics and diagrams and evaluate components, materials and suppliers, developing specifications and safety standards. You will co-ordinate and organise internal teams and 3rd party labour for the execution of projects to a high standard and ensure all parties adhere to the overall project plan throughout the project life cycle. Maintain project team accomplishments by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input , reviewing open issues and action items, contributing information to team meetings and reports. Work closely with various departments in the company to ensure projects are implemented in a timely and efficient manner and assist the manufacturing team on maintaining ISO Quality manufacturing procedures and standards as well as assist with engineering budgeting and cost analysis.

Option of a 4 day week - Mon - Thurs 7.15am - 5.15pm OR if you prefer you can do a 4.5 day week.What you'll need to succeedIdeally we would like to see candidates with a Degree in Engineering OR 4 years Quality Management experience. You will have manufacturing industry experience, desirably from heavy engineering. You will have the ability to analyse and troubleshoot and have effective communication skills. There will be a small element of travel.What you'll get in return
