Job: SASE Implementation Engineer
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract(6 Months + Possible extensions)
Location: City of London, UK (Hybrid)
Purpose of the job
The SASE Implementation Engineer will play a key role for a global SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) implementation project. This role requires prior network and/or security transformation project implementation experience such as ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) and SD-WAN (Software-defined wide-area networking) with some SSE (Secure Service Edge) skills.
Prior Netskope SSE/SASE experience would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities
- Actively participate in technical workshops with the vendor professional services (PS) team and internal IT and Security Teams.
- Implement and operationalise the network aspects of Netskope SASE solutions, including ZTNA, SD-WAN and DEM.
- Take ownership of pilot rollouts and perform extended testing of SASE aspects in our infrastructure.
- Produce and maintain high quality operational documentations for SASE to ensure a well-managed and mature infrastructure.
- Provide implementation support and assistance for SASE related issues.
- Deliver KT sessions to internal IT team to successfully operationalize SASE
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Strong technical/network hands-on background and education to degree level or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) network principles such as ZTNA, SD-WAN, SWG and DEM. Netskope SASE/SSE or similar implementation experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and other relevant security tools.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF and SNMP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality technical documentations
