Prepare and issue SolidWorks designs to the production dept. including detailed technical drawings and instructions for the manufacture of products
Liaise with the estimation department on the handover of projects
Support clients on technical queries or design of projects and approvals
Prepare project material orders and issue them to the supply chain dept
Manage and prioritise own projects
Support production on technical queries
Liaise with the production supervisor on any specific project manufacturing details
Keep accurate reporting of projects, including the track of materials and labour usage efficiencies
Prepare and issue delivery or dispatch notes for projects
Liaise with accounts dept. on invoicing of projects
Attend weekly production meetings

Experiences required

Must have professional SolidWorks experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Experience in design within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
Strong communication skills
Organisational skills and attention for detail
