Role Purpose:
To support the Operations Manager and wider Quality and Operations teams with the development of all team members to meet the requirements of all external awarding organisations, Ofsted and t2 quality assurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that teaching and learning are conducted to a high standard, supporting progression of learners through curriculum delivery to timely achievement.
Motivate and develop IQAs to raise their own performance and deliver the business objectives, supporting and managing performance to meet KPIs and improve QAR.
To provide consistent training, standardisation and development to the IQAs and PDMs to ensure the awarding body quality threshold on all routes are met and exceeded.
Performance management of IQAs including monthly meetings to review KPIs and complete 121 supervision.
Motivate and develop IQAs to raise performance levels of Personal Development Managers in respect of teaching, learning and assessment, to achieve high standards in quality of education and personal development for all learners.
Complete joint observations, IQA observations and sampling in line with the LIQA Strategy.
To work alongside the Operations Managers to plan completion targets and timely achievement.
To support with coordinating external quality assurance assessment as required.
Ensure 100% accuracy and compliance on all data recording.
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed in the required timescales.
To work with the quality Manager and Head of work-based learning to review and refine policies and procedures, current systems and working practices to strive for improvements that reflect best practice and legal compliance.
Promote and safeguard learner health and wellbeing
Recognise, record and report any safeguarding concerns relating to learners, adults at risk or children.
Skills and Experience required:
Must Hold an IQA Qualification and be Level 5 Health and Social Care competent
Excellent planning and organising skills
Effective communication skills
Sound Teaching, Learning and Assessment skills

Proven ability to lead, coach, support and manage performance of a team
