We have an exciting opportunity land on our desk for a leading global technology business who are delivering world beating projects within the automotive & aerospace sectors. You will be working as part of an experienced team to deliver engineering projects on time and on budget. The order book is a full one and following a company restructure they are looking for a programme manager to join their team.
We are looking for an experienced engineer who has moved into project management, happy to consider candidates with a small amount of project management experience but you must have a strong engineering background. You'll be working on multiple engine projects which will be a mix of small and large programs. You will be working closely alongside a team of project managers and engineers.
You'll be tasked with creating and delivering project plans whilst revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Will need to identify risks and manage the budget for various projects. You'll be monitoring the project progress against plans in terms of work completed, cost and timing, whilst also supporting the commercial department in project planning for quotation purposes.
You will need to be coming from background within automotive or aerospace engineering. We need someone to have experience/knowledge of engines, this could be from a degree within engineering would be highly advantageous.
