Job Purpose:
• To drive the successful delivery, in all aspects including safety, environmental, quality, technical scope, customer satisfaction, and effective management of working capital, of multiple 33kV and 11kV major electrical circuit projects within Area 1 (Norfolk, Suffolk and north Cambs).

Principal Accountabilities:
• Ensure the entire project team operates at the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Deliver all work to the required standards of quality, fully completing inspection and test plans.
• Generate or approve project-specific risk assessments/method statements (RAMS), Construction Phase Plans (CPP), Quality Plans (QMP), and Task Instructions.
• Manage sub-contractors from safety, compliance, and commercial perspectives.
• Drive contract growth and profitability by ensuring programs are met and delivered with sufficient skilled, trained, and competent resources.
• Collaborate with contacts and support staff to ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Comply with processes and IT systems while driving continuous improvement.
• Embed lessons learned and best practices into the project delivery process and culture to raise standards of quality, safety, and commercial performance.
• Act as an active and effective ambassador of Ipsum in all aspects of your work.
Desired Qualifications & Professional Membership(s):
? Relevant Electrical Engineering Qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
? Recognised Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent)
Knowledge & Experience:
? Proven track record as Project Manager preferably in a UK DNO environment
? Previous experience working in an operational role on EHV power distribution (overhead and underground circuits).
? Previous experience delivering work that requires activities like: deep excavation, temporary works, cable installation, cable jointing, wood pole line construction and dismantlement, engaging with stakeholders including: EA, Network Rail, Cadent Gas, private landowners and occupiers
? Specific knowledge of how HV and EHV DNO networks operate, especially UK Power Networks.
? Good knowledge of health and safety practice and effective risk controls
