Project Manager role overview:
Managing projects for a large retail client, ensuring on-time delivery within budget. You will need to have a solid project management background in software or hardware-focused businesses, along with strong stakeholder management skills. Experience in retail or a related industry is preferred.
Project Manager Job Responsibilities:
Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with business and customer objectives.
Supervise the Project Support Coordinator and manage their priorities.
Create and oversee project plans, budgets, and reporting structures.
Work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure stock accuracy, on-time shipments, and efficient order processing.
Ensure adherence to PRINCE2 methodologies and best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior retail clients and internal teams.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies for smooth project delivery.
Manage project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Drive continuous improvement by reviewing project performance and applying lessons learned.
Project Manager Required Attributes:
Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, or Trello.
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is required.
Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and communication skills.
Extensive experience managing multiple large-scale projects in software or hardware-based businesses.
