Our client provides reliable and timely testing for high-tech systems, helping their client maintain a strong and dependable capability for national and allied defence.

The department develops and supports software that works with test equipment to set up, check, and confirm the quality and compliance of our client's products-from development through production and even field testing.

The team is diverse, dynamic, focused, and flexible, with expertise in all areas of test solution design, including software, hardware, simulation, and real-time systems. This role offers a great opportunity to learn about our company's entire range of products and work on a variety of projects.

What experience is our client looking for?

They're seeking someone who is passionate about building high-performing teams.

As you'll be the design authority for the software your team creates, it's essential that you have a proven background in software development-ideally with experience in low-level programming using C.

You should also be skilled at building strong working relationships within multi-disciplinary software project environments.

In addition, experience in the following areas is required:

  • Estimating costs
  • Planning and scheduling work
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across the business

Dynamic (hybrid) working: An expectation to be onsite 4-5 days per week, in correlation to classification of workoad.
