Aspiring Educational Psychologist Opportunity in Kempston!

Are you a graduate looking to build experience in the Education and Training sector? We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join an inclusive and supportive team in Kempston.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and decide if a career in the SEN and Mental Health sectors is right for you. Ideal for those with a Psychology or Health and Social Care background, this role provides exposure to various professionals, including SEN specialists, ABA Tutors, and Mental Health practitioners.

Details:

Role: Aspiring Educational Psychologist

Location: Kempston

Pay: £460-£500 per week

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Sector: Education and Training

150 students across varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities of an Aspiring Educational Psychologist:

  • Support students with intermediate learning needs, focusing on Autism and individualized learning plans.
  • Small classes (6-8 students) with tailored approaches based on ability.
  • Assist in the development of key personal and functional skills for SEN students.

The ideal Aspiring Educational Psychologist:

  • An Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Psychology, Criminology, or related fields) and/or relevant SEN experience.
  • A keen interest in Autism, Mental Health, and SEN.
  • Understanding or interest in learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements).
  • Ability to commute locally to Kempston.
