Im working with an established manufacturer who are based in Lancashire, they currently have an urgent requirement for a Quality Manager who has a background in Engineering or a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that comply with industry regulations and align with company goals.
- Supervise the comprehensive quality assurance process, including inspections, audits, and oversight of quality control testing for products and processes.
- Establish clear and quantifiable quality objectives that are in line with overall business goals and customer expectations.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to detect potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout product development and manufacturing.
- Track and analyse quality performance metrics, producing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and the implementation of preventive actions.
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulatedmanufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer
- Experienced in compiling and analyzing Quality Metrics.
- Proficient with industry standards such as ISO 9001, and other relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support thorough Root Cause Analysis audits.
