ROLE - Quality Manager

LOCATION Lancashire

TERM Permanent

SALARY - £45,000



Im working with an established manufacturer who are based in Lancashire, they currently have an urgent requirement for a Quality Manager who has a background in Engineering or a manufacturing environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that comply with industry regulations and align with company goals.
  • Supervise the comprehensive quality assurance process, including inspections, audits, and oversight of quality control testing for products and processes.
  • Establish clear and quantifiable quality objectives that are in line with overall business goals and customer expectations.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to detect potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout product development and manufacturing.
  • Track and analyse quality performance metrics, producing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and the implementation of preventive actions.
Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulatedmanufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer
  • Experienced in compiling and analyzing Quality Metrics.
  • Proficient with industry standards such as ISO 9001, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support thorough Root Cause Analysis audits.
