Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Approach Personnel are partnering with our long standing client to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the preconstruction team, working exclusively alongside high profile clients on their projects.

Duties

Assisting with all pre and post contract surveying services on a range of construction projects

Taking responsibility for successfully completing all allocated QS and PM tasks to a high degree of accuracy

Assisting with Employers Agent services on Design and Build and Development Agreement procured projects and assuming the principal EA role where possible

Following the company Quality Management System in the delivery of all services

Assisting on multiple projects simultaneously and developing excellent time management strategies

Treating all clients to exceptional level of service

About You

Full-time Degree (preferably RICS accredited) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related field or at least 2 years completed of a similar related part-time degree, supported by 2 years relevant industry experience

Proficiency in measurement, ideally using CostX Measurement Software

Good understanding of construction technology

Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Attention to detail and commitment to quality Driving licence and own car. Willingness to travel to sites across the UK as required
