Job Summary
GRAHAM Construction is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Faslane/Coulport. This role is crucial for managing the financial aspects of our pre-construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with all contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all pre-construction quantity surveying activities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and risk management.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure accurate cost control.
- Prepare and review tender documentation and contracts.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide support and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
- Collaborate with the project management team to align financial objectives with project goals.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor post-graduation.
- Proven experience in pre-construction quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must live within a 45-minute drive of the Faslane/Coulport site.
- Must be willing to undergo full Security Clearance process.
- No option for remote working; presence on-site is mandatory.
