My client is a regional building contractor, which are in the market for a Project Quantity Surveyor. They operate largely across the Greater Manchester regions. They work within commercial housing and retail sectors of construction market. Delivering a range of design and build projects in industrial and commercial and leisure. Typical values between £5million up around £18million. The ideal Quantity Surveyor candidate will have previous design and build experience. They expressed a keen interest in those Quantity Surveyors with some commercial experience.

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute and be involved in pricing works on selected projects. You will be given ownership and accountability for delivering sub contact packages to projects. Ensuring the best possible value and profit in maintained during and closing of project delivery. As an experienced commercial candidate, you will have the ability to work un aided, managing your own workload and projects.

You will ideally have site experience working for a regional building contractor. With Quantity Surveying experience working on new build projects. The successful candidate will be proactive and work to their own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to work managing their own projects and workloads.
To be considered you need hold the following:

Full experienced in delivering JCT or NEC forms of contract
Be qualified to MSc or BA Hons in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
