Are you a Quantity Surveyor with prior experience of working within the built environment or facilities managements sectors?

We have an exciting new opportunity with our client, a well-established nationally recognised FM provider.

They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to support on a range of projects including retrofit, internal refurb, fire proofing, cladding, roofing schemes and repairs.
The QS will be responsible for managing the delivery of commercial services across a multi-location contract. They will be regularly pricing work ensuring target costs are met and reviewing contractual agreements with contractors as well as liaising directly with end clients.

Key duties:

  • Pricing of works - low value retrofitting projects
  • Management of supply chain partners and regional patch
  • Preparing subcontract documentation and procure subcontract packages
  • Assessment of and processing of subcontractor payments and liabilities
  • Management of Defined Cost and pain/gain trackers

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial experience in a similar level role
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Ability to engage with client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties
  • Advanced user of MS Office, particularly in Excel /Project
  • Working understanding of PAS 2035/Energy Retrofit (not essential)
