LOCATION : Commutable from Hull, Nottingham , Mansfield , Retford , Lincoln, Grimsby , Newark

THE ROLE : This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years experience to join our client as they expand their team. This is a hybrid role working 37.5 hours per week.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent ( client side)
  • Cost Control, Bill of Quantities, and Cost Management skills.
  • Cost Planning and Cost Reporting skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent client management and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and construction contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of contentious quantity surveying practices.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE :
  • Engaging in the delivery of Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Managing costs and finances throughout various stages of various construction projects.
  • Ensure reported data is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Assist with procurement and management of sub-contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the contract, liaise with the project teams on project status.
  • Guarantee the financial success and quality delivery of construction projects through effective cost management, procurement, contract administration, risk management, and value engineering.
  • Completing Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Compiling budget cost and feasibility estimates.
