Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

  • Delivering projects from inception to completion.
  • Providing cost advice and management across various project types.
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide cost planning and estimation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce estimates and conduct budget reviews across various sectors.
  • Collect and analyse data to define client and stakeholder needs.
  • Create Analysis and Benchmarking Reports to promote value for money.
  • Champion innovation both within our organisation and on the client side.
  • Lead and support the development of tools that integrate data and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

  • Strong PQS background with relevant industry qualifications.
  • Experience working on commercial projects.
  • Ideally 4-5+ years of post-graduation experience in quantity surveying.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Pre and post contract experience.
  • Chartered member of RICS or working towards it.
