Your new companyHays Construction have been retained by one of Northern Ireland's largest construction contractors are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on the Irish Water Framework. Established as a stalwart of the construction industry in Northern Ireland for over 70 years, they have been involved in some of the largest construction projects across the UK and NI. Operating with a turnover of over £200m, they continue to expand and grow, and due to such growth they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Civils Division.Your new roleReporting directly to the Head of Civils, this position will be pivotal in providing quantity surveying support services to the Civil Engineering Team. You will come on board their Commercial Team on the Irish water framework. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the project delivery team, responsible for the full financial management of the project. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a focus on establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the client and all external parties.What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or stem from a construction related discipline. Due to the location of projects you must be flexible to travel within Ireland. You will have at least 8 years pre and post contract experience in a Quantity Surveying role working on civils projects. You will be self-sufficient with a proven track record of running similar-sized projects.
