Bar Manager - Near Tring, Hertfordshire

This delightful luxury hotel and spa is now seeking a passionate and highly engaging Bar Manager to oversee the following:

Main Bar - offering a wide range of spirits, wines and cocktails to a discerning clientele base together with a light food offering and range of coffees

Conference and banqueting bars:

An additional bar offering a slightly diminished offering specifically designed to meet the needs of the private events, dinner parties, functions and weddings

About you!

Already an experienced assistant or Bar manager, you will have a strong understanding of the following areas gained through experience within the UK hotel market

Strong People management skills

An in depth understanding of ordering, stock control and rotation, weights and measures act, health and safety and legal requirements and legislation associated with working in the UK market

A background within the 4 star hotel sector

knowledge of managing a team, recruitment, training and development of your staff

be highly engaging able to comfortably communicate in a professional manner with your colleagues, customers and managers alike

be comfortable working evenings and weekends as these shift patterns will form part of the role
