PSR Solutions is recruiting for a Section Manager in London to work on HS2 rail and civils packages for a Tier 1 contractor.
Candidates should have extensive experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent in major infrastructure or railway projects, ideally with a formal qualification in civil engineering or a related field.
Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality standards, and stakeholder relationships, as well as managing design input and site establishment.
The position requires a good understanding of project planning and construction methods, along with the ability to analyze works information and compliance.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have significant experience in site-based construction roles.

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Section Manager in London, this will be working on the HS2 on multiple Rail and Civils packages for a Tier 1 contractor. They will be looking for someone with an extensive amount of experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent with major infrastructure or Railway background.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring a safe, healthy, environmentally line up with delivery of works.
Ensuring quality standards are met across all work.
Ensuring adequate input is provided in the design process with the project.
Procuring and delivering the ground reduction works.
Procuring and delivering the site establishment.
Maintaining relationships with stakeholders
Analyse and interpret works information and have an in-depth knowledge of specific contractors scope of works
Reviewing documents and paperwork in line with project
Review of Contractor on-site works compliance to Commitments, HS&E, quality, programme and innovation
Identifying threats and opportunities, raising early warnings and compensation events in relation to the works.

Person Specification

Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on a major infrastructure or Railway projects.
Formal qualification in a civil engineering or construction related subjects.
Previous experience in a site-based construction role in major construction, infrastructure or Rail projects.
Good understanding of project planning and construction methods.
