This varied, challenging and exciting role will see you focus on delivering profitable growth ahead of agreed targets. You will play an active role in shaping the future strategic direction of the business under the guidance of the Commercial Director and the overall Board objectives.
Some of the key areas of the role will include:
- Developing and managing key relationships across categories;
- Developing and managing account plans, with a view to delivering profitable growth.
- Ensuring Quality Management processes are followed accurately;
- Timely and clear communication of any changes within your accounts, across the business;
- Leading and influencing your account, delivering category growth initiatives (using insights and production development passion);
- Providing flare, foodie passion, creativity and credibility with product & category development discussions & presentations with your customers;
- Take ownership & autonomy for your customers both internally and externally, especially with our manufacturing partners;
- Positively contribute to growth objectives;
- Full P&L responsibility for your customers;
- Being the expert on your accounts and representing them to the business at all levels.
- Building outstanding relationships across all areas of the business and communicating weekly to various teams ensuring expectations, deadlines and growth targets are met.
About You:
- You will have a MINIMUM of 2 years' experience managing major retail relationships.
- You will have full, current knowledge of retailer specific systems.
- Demonstrable success from previous sales roles within structured FMCG business(es).
- You be outstanding at communicating, analysing, and influencing within category management.
- You'll have a passion for fine foods and understand how these position themselves.
-Have a clean driving license.
