Job Title: Business Development Manager (Portable Power)

Location: UK-based (remote/flexible locations)

Salary: £50-70k

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our clients power division. This role will involve shaping strategies, building client relationships, and increasing market share for a diverse range of power products, including generators, light towers, and battery storage solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities, stay informed on industry trends, and evaluate competitor activities.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their unique needs to offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet revenue goals, including negotiation and deal closures.
  • Gain extensive knowledge of power product applications, providing clients with technical insights and training when necessary.
  • Partner with marketing and technical teams to create compelling promotional content and ensure client specifications are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, market insights, and client interactions, providing regular updates to management.
  • Represent the company within relevant trade organisations, contributing to industry networks and knowledge sharing.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
  • Proven track record in business development, particularly in power generation or related sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset, with strong skills in market analysis and strategic planning.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
