Business Development Manager

UK Wide (field-based role)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Competitive Commission Structure + OTE £50,000 - £60,000 + Uncapped Commission + Monday to Friday + Company Car + Holiday + Pension

This position is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop their existing knowledge and become a subject matter expert in their field.

This company has been established for over 10 years and both design and manufacture steel partitioning systems for big name clients such as Jaguar Land Rover and Barclays.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing sales, managing relationships with clients, and identifying new customers. You will travel to site and discuss products with customers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager with a background selling manufactured products to the commercial and construction sectors.

This is an excellent position for someone looking to work autonomously and directly impact and influence their earnings.

The Role:

  • Research and identify new customers.
  • Travel to customer sites.
  • Visit the office once per month to report sales performance and projections.
  • Manage existing customers.


The Person:

  • Networking skills.
  • Sales skills.
  • Business Development experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Background selling manufactured products to the construction, industrial, commercial, building and engineering industry.
  • Full UK Driver's License.
