Your new companyIt is a well known bank with branches across the North & South of Ireland. Hays have been appointed to recruit a Customer Service Executive / Bank Cashier to join their team. The role will be based in Derry City. Working hours will be 10:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday. Your new roleAs Customer Service Executive / Bank Cashier, you will provide a professional, friendly and engaged service to customers. You will be a visible and active presence in the branch, delivering a personal customer experience. Your responsibilities will include the following:Greeting and engaging with customers on the banking hall floor - enquiring as to their needsGuiding customers to the appropriate self-service options - mobile app, Internet banking and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if requiredHandling basic queries and complaints - directing to senior staff as requiredEngaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needsIdentifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as requiredCash handling - processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required. Responsible for balancing cash at the end of the day and managing levels throughout the day.What you'll need to succeedAs Customer Service Executive / Bank Cashier, you will have 5 GCSE's at grades A-C including Maths & English (or equivalent level qualifications). You will be able to demonstrate previous in a customer service position with cash handling responsibilities. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch, be resilient and hard-working within a busy work environment.
