Academics are working with a Secondary school in Dacorum and are currently recruiting for a Head of Department History Teacher. This role is to start January 2025. I am keen to hear from experienced Head of Department History Teacher or an experienced teacher looking to take on added responsibility. .

Responsibilities:

Manage the History department
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in History education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS), (ECT) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching History to students of all ages and abilities
Enhanced DBS
Rights to work in the UK
