Your new companyThis organisation is one of Northern Ireland's largest and most recognised public bodies which is situated in Belfast City Centre. This organisation owns and operate a vast estate of buildings and land across the city and employs about 4,000 staff.

Your new roleThis is a contract position for an estimated period of 9 -12 months. Reporting to the Estates Manager (Security), you will oversee the daily operational management and effective implementation of the organisation's integrated security service in order to reduce the potential exposure to loss, damage or injury of capital and intellectual assets, as well as enhance the overall security of staff and visitors.Some of the duties will include:

  • Management, supervision and planning for all Security Service activities and contracts across the estate for all events.
  • Conduct investigations on the reporting of all security matters and incidents. These investigations may require evidence to be provided to the PSNI for criminal or civil action or staff disciplinary procedures.
  • Manage and ensure that the Control Room operates systems, procedures and protocols are compliant with current legislation.
  • Daily management of consolidated Physical Security Information Management
  • Monitoring of health and safety within the Security Service, with specific emphasis on accident reporting and investigation and compliance with the organisation's policy.

What you'll need to succeedTo be eligible for this role you must have:

A Level 4 Award (minimum) in Security & Risk Management or a similar management field.Recognised Health & Safety qualification.

AND

At least five years recent relevant management experience within the Security environment.

Planning and coordinating security activities and responsibilities in response to organisational priorities and needs.

Two years experience of contract management of electronic security systems.
