This senior role is pivotal in driving the technical management and successful delivery of high-impact residential developments across Merseyside.
Role Overview:
As the Regional Building Services Manager, you will lead a team overseeing the management and coordination of complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design and build subcontract packages. You will ensure the highest standards of bid-management, design, construction, and commissioning are met. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining project progress while adhering to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the management of the MEP bid and preconstruction phases.
Oversee high-value MEP subcontract packages on Residential, Build to Rent, Education, Commercial, and Hospitality projects.
Ensure compliance with project objectives and budgets.
Drive cost control processes, ensuring strict adherence to financial constraints.
Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams.
Provide technical expertise in building systems such as electrical, mechanical, fire safety, security, water treatment, and high-voltage systems.
What You Bring:
10+ years in construction, with at least 5 years in a senior role, particularly managing MEP subcontracts.
Proven experience in large-scale projects with values exceeding £20m.
Expertise in off-site modular construction and Passivhaus MEP design is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on client satisfaction, innovation, and team development.
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
