Join an award-winning boatbuilding company based in beautiful waterside offices in Cornwallan ideal location for sailors, surfers, and beach lovers. We are a highly regarded name in the marine industry, specialising in the design and construction of luxury motor launches and superyacht tenders. Our approach combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative engineering and modern techniques to create vessels of the highest quality.

Position:
We are looking for full-timeBoat Buildersto join our expanding team. This is a permanent role, working07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Thursday (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
As a Boat Builder, your duties will include:

  • Scribing and fitting joinery components
  • Installing teak decks and external stainless steel hardware
  • Fitting windows, doors, and furnishings
  • Installing GRP components and other aspects of boat assembly
  • Using hand and machine tools

Essential Skills/Experience:
We welcome applications from experienced Boat Builders as well as professionals from related trades, such as:

  • 1st & 2nd Fix Carpenters
  • Window Fitters
  • Shop Fitters
  • Joiners
  • Caravan/Motorhome Fitters

The ideal candidate will:

  • Take pride in their work and be responsible for its quality
  • Work well both independently and under supervision
  • Be confident in using hand and fixed machinery
  • Have strong organisational and practical skills
  • Possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Have a basic understanding of Health and Safety standards
  • Be reliable and hardworking

Salary:
A competitive rate of up toĀ£16.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The starting rate will be discussed during the interview.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis as suitable applications are received.
