Housing Options Officer
Location: Essex
Rate: Very competitive
Length: 12-months

My client in Essex is currently searching for a Housing Options Officer to join their team on a 12-month contract, to start immediately.

They are looking to interview ASAP!
Daily responsibilities:

Deliver a customer orientated service to prevent homelessness.
Assess the Council's duties to those who are at risk of homelessness and ensure that these are discharged.
Liaise with families, private landlords, social care, letting agencies and mortgage lenders.
Provide advice to those seeking accommodation on private sector housing options.

Essential Experience:

History applying Section 21 and 184, as well as HRA 2017, to real cases.
Experience working for local authorities/councils.
Have worked with Personalised Housing Plans (PHP).
