As a Residential Childcare Worker, your role includes:

Building trusting relationships with children
Ensuring their safety and creating structured routines
Organizing recreational and educational activities
Supporting educational progress and personal development
Collaborating with team members and external agencies
Keeping accurate records and following all childcare regulations

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Experience in a care setting with young people
Knowledge of cognitive behavioral approaches, attachment theory, and child protection policies
SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
PVG registration and a full driving license
