Role Description
Join Our Team as a Male Complex Needs Support Worker
Location:Kennington, Oxfordshire
Salary:£13.84 per hour (£26,988 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction;overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours
Hours:8.00am to 8.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
Contract:Full-time, Permanent
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

What will you be doing?
As aSupport Worker, you'll be more than just their support you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Daily Care & Support:Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships:Getting to know the person you support, understanding the needs, and helping him live life on his own terms.
  • Empowering Independence:Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration with the help of Positive Behaviour Specialist
  • Social Engagement:Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring he has the opportunity to enjoy what he loves.
  • Respect & Dignity:Ensuring that the individual and the family are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
James*is a young man with autism and moderate learning difficulties. He likes to go out in his vehicle on pre-planned routes. He loves music, BBC 1, BBC 2 radio and colouring activities. His favourite food is pasta. James likes routine and predictability. His team need to be dedicated, resilient and think outside of the box to enable him to reach his full potential.
