Personal Care:
Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
Emotional Support:
Providing companionship, encouragement, and a safe environment for individuals to express their feelings and needs.
Community Access:
Helping individuals access community resources, appointments, and social activities.
Care Planning:
Working with individuals and families to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations, and changes in an individual's needs.
Medication Support:
Assisting with medication administration, following protocols and guidelines.
Safeguarding:
Ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals under their care, reporting any concerns or incidents.
Training:
Completing mandatory and additional training to maintain skills and knowledge.
Communication:
Communicating effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals involved in the care plan.
